Holistic Healing for Mental Health in Fallbrook, CA

Medically reviewed by Veronica Anderson, Clinical/Medical Director · Last reviewed July 2026

At RYSE Wellness, holistic healing means treating the whole person, mind, body, and spirit, as part of serious clinical care rather than in place of it. In our private, 6-bed residential program in Fallbrook, California, holistic therapies like yoga, nutrition, equine work, and art therapy sit alongside FDA-cleared qEEG brain mapping, in-house TMS, and evidence-based psychotherapy. The result is whole-person care for adults whose prior treatment did not hold, grounded in measurable data rather than promises.

California-licensed residential mental health facility. HIPAA-protected care. FDA-cleared qEEG via Firefly Neuro. Joint Commission accredited.

Key Takeaways

What Holistic Healing Means at RYSE

Holistic healing is a whole-person approach: it addresses your physical, emotional, and mental health together rather than treating symptoms in isolation. At RYSE, that philosophy is built on top of clinical care, not instead of it. Holistic therapies complement your psychiatric care, medication management, and evidence-based psychotherapy so that the whole plan supports your recovery.

To be clear about what this is and is not: holistic care at RYSE is complementary. It is not a replacement for medication, therapy, or medical treatment, and it is not an alternative-medicine program. For adults with high-acuity or treatment-resistant conditions, that clinical foundation is exactly why our holistic work is effective. Your FDA-cleared qEEG brain map, performed three times during your stay, gives us objective data to guide both the clinical and the holistic sides of your plan.

Our Holistic Therapies

Each therapy below is chosen for a specific reason and integrated into your individualized plan.

  • Yoga and meditation: breath and movement practices for stress regulation and nervous-system balance.
  • Nutrition counseling and a private-chef program: brain-focused meals plus a client-led weekly cooking program that builds a practical, lasting skill.
  • Equine therapy: experiential work with horses to build trust, grounding, and emotional regulation.
  • Art and sound therapy: creative, nonverbal methods to process trauma and mood shifts.
  • Twice-weekly personal training: movement to rebuild energy, structure, and resilience.
  • Family therapy and aftercare planning: whole-person recovery that includes the people around you and a plan for after discharge.

How Holistic Healing Integrates with Clinical Care

The holistic side of RYSE works because it sits on a clinical spine. FDA-cleared qEEG brain mapping shows your brain’s electrical patterns, repeated three times so change is visible over your stay. Firefly Neuro AI-driven treatment planning uses that data to tailor interventions to your nervous system. In-house TMS provides noninvasive neuromodulation targeted to the patterns we see, and evidence-based psychotherapy (CBT, DBT, ACT) plus psychiatric medication management round out the plan. Holistic therapies then support regulation, structure, and daily function alongside all of it.

Who This Is for and What We Treat

This program is built for adults whose prior outpatient, brief inpatient, or previous residential care did not hold. We provide high-acuity, 24/7 residential care in a small setting that supports clinical continuity and privacy.

We treat:

  • Treatment-resistant mood disorders and major depression
  • Bipolar spectrum mood episodes and other high-acuity presentations, including schizophrenia
  • High-acuity anxiety and PTSD or trauma
  • ADHD
  • Appropriate dual diagnosis, where mental health is primary and substance use is co-occurring

Outpatient fits when you can manage daily life with periodic support. Hospitals address immediate safety and medical stabilization, not sustained therapeutic work. Consider RYSE if prior care did not hold and you want whole-person care with 24/7 continuity and objective progress tracking.

Verify Your PPO Benefits

Cost uncertainty is usually the biggest barrier, not clinical need. A verification of benefits (VOB) is a free check that estimates your coverage and likely out-of-pocket cost. To run one, we ask for your insurer name, member ID, and date of birth.

Integrated Dual Diagnosis and Co-Occurring Support

At RYSE, mental health is the primary focus, and we treat co-occurring substance use alongside it rather than in a separate silo. We screen at intake and throughout your stay so the plan adapts as your presentation changes. Your qEEG data informs case review and shows measurable change over time.

If acute withdrawal risk or medical instability is present, we coordinate transfer to an appropriate medical detox setting before residential admission. RYSE is a residential mental health program and does not provide detox, so this step ensures the right level of care first.

Insurance and Payment

We make cost clarity part of care. Our admissions team runs a Verification of Benefits and sends a personalized, written out-of-pocket estimate before admission. RYSE is PPO out-of-network friendly and also accepts private pay. We do not hold in-network contracts at this time.

Costs depend on your length of stay (our average is 30 to 45 days) and how your plan reimburses out-of-network residential care, which is why we provide a written estimate rather than a fixed published rate. To speed a VOB, have your insurance card, member ID and policy or group number, and subscriber name and date of birth ready. With your consent, same-day verification is often possible.
